POURPIN Is Now on Android — Our Wine Log App Is Live on Google Play
POURPIN is now available as an Android app, live on Google Play.
Until now, POURPIN lived in your browser: open pourpin.fun, photograph the label of the wine you drank, and the app reads the name and producer and keeps the record for you. That same wine log now has an Android app of its own.
The store's release note says it in one line: POURPIN for Android is here — log a wine just by photographing its label. Everything below is really just the details of that one sentence, plus how to start.
What the Android app does
Photograph a label, and the wine's name, producer, region and importer are read automatically and saved as a record. You can shoot the front label and then the back label in one go, so the importer details printed on the back end up in the same record.
Each bottle you keep comes back with its photo, your rating and your memo. A bottle you would happily drink again stays in the log too, marked as one to revisit. Where you drank it is kept on a map, so when you want that restaurant again, you can search by place.

For bottles you do not need to keep, there is a scan on its own. Photograph the label and you can check the wine's flavour type and where it comes from, right there — handy at a shop shelf, or with a glass someone just poured for you.
There are no public reviews. No followers. No ads. What stays is your own log, and nothing else.
For label shots that actually read well, see this guide.

Getting started, in three steps
- Install POURPIN from Google Play
- Try it as a guest — no sign-up — and log up to 3 bottles from label photos
- When you want to keep more, sign in and log up to 30 bottles
The order is deliberate: you never have to register first. Three bottles is enough to photograph a wine, check that the reading looks right, and leave a one-line memo. By then you will know whether it fits your evenings.
The web version still works, too
The app changes nothing about the web version. On a computer or a phone browser, pourpin.fun works the way it always has. On iPhone, the web version is the way to use POURPIN. On Android, the app is simply the quicker door — it opens straight from your home screen.
Questions and answers
Q1. Does it cost anything?
The basics are free. Sign in and you can log up to 30 bottles, with no time limit. As a guest, with no registration at all, you can try 3 bottles. Premium (¥300/month, ¥3,000/year) raises the cap to 1,000 bottles and adds detailed search and Export.
Q2. Can other people see my log?
No. POURPIN has no public reviews and no follower system; the log belongs to you alone. The store's Data safety section also declares that no data is shared with third parties, that data is encrypted in transit, and that you can request deletion.
Q3. What if I use an iPhone?
Use the web version at pourpin.fun. Open it in your usual browser and log the same way.

Today's one action
Log tonight's bottle as a guest. Install the app, photograph the label of the bottle in front of you, look over what it read, and after the glass, leave one line of memo. One of your three guest bottles is enough to tell whether this belongs in your routine.
